What supports does the Library have for learning with and making 360° videos?


These are all resources available from the library designed to help you explore and learn more about 360° photos and videos. 

Staff Support 

The VR lab is the go-to place on campus for support with Extended Realities (XR) technology, including VR, AR and 360 technologies. The best way to begin is to explore the webpage. You may also connect with our Immersive Technologies Specialist.  

Workshops 

The library offers many free workshops to help support the campus community with concepts and technologies in XR, including 360° content. To find out when programming is being offered check the Library Programming Calendar

  • Beginner's Guide to 360° Cameras: Learn how to use 360° cameras (Ricoh Theta V, Insta Nano, and others) to create highly immersive environments for education such as simulation training, admission tours & recruitment, athletics, entertainment, virtual field schools, live events, archival, health & safety training and more! 

Available Cameras 

These 360° cameras are available to the campus community through the VR Lab at the library. Check the listings to find out how more about specific equipment.
