How do I organize sources using collections and tags in Zotero?
Creating a new collection in Zotero is very simple.
From Zotero’s top menu, choose File and then New Collection. Type the name of your new collection and then click OK to create it.
You can then drag and drop PDFs from your library to your new collection to populate it.
To use tags in Zotero, select the source that you would like to tag.
In the right-hand side panel where you are able to edit the source’s different fields, there is a Tags view where you can add tags and save them by hitting enter.
