If you installed the Zotero Connector before the Library's transition to OpenAthens in June 2024, it might still use the old proxy (libproxy), which no longer works and causes error messages. We recommend deleting the proxy settings in the Zotero Connector browser extension.

Steps to follow:

• In your browser of choice, right click on the Zotero Connector
• Click on Options 
• Navigate to Proxies 
• Delete the old proxy by selecting them in the “Configured Proxies” box and pressing the minus (-) button below it.
• Turn off the "Enable Proxy and Redirection" option.
