The Mount Royal Open Access Repository (MROAR) is MRU’s institutional repository. An institutional repository is a digital collection that preserves, organizes, and provides access to the scholarly and creative work of a university community. MROAR helps increase the visibility, accessibility, and long-term preservation of research and other intellectual contributions created at MRU.
MROAR includes a range of materials, such as articles, conference papers, reports, teaching and learning materials, undergraduate honours theses, and other major student research projects where appropriate. It also supports self-archiving, which means MRU authors may be able to share a permitted version of their work in the repository even if it has also been published elsewhere.
Who can deposit?
- Faculty, staff, and other MRU employees may deposit items in an appropriate collection.
- Students may deposit undergraduate honours theses or other approved major projects in the collection designated for undergraduate research.
- If you are not sure whether your material is a fit, please contact the repository team.
How do I deposit an item?
