How can I optimise my OA Fee Finder search?


Use the Library's OA Fee Finder to find journals with waived or reduced Article Processing Charges (APCs) for MRU authors.


Advanced search tips

Search Function Journal title search (default)

Subject or Imprint (publisher) search

Description
Wildcard ? organi?ation subjects: organi?ation Finds "organization" and "organisation"
Truncation * Royal Societ* imprint: Royal Societ* Finds all terms starting with "Royal Societ..."
Phrase Searching "" "art history" subjects: "art history" Finds exact matches

Boolean Operators

AND, OR and NOT are supported for use in the search.

Ensuring your eligibility for discounted Open Access publishing

To be identified as qualifying for waived or reduced APCs:

  • You must be the corresponding author (or another author from a participating institution)
  • You must use your MRU institutional email when submitting.
  • The journal must be included in an MRU publisher agreement.
