How can I recommend books, films, or other library materials for the MRU Library collection?

You can recommend books, journals, films, or other library materials or equipment for consideration for purchase using MRU Library’s Recommend a Purchase form.

All recommendations will be reviewed by the appropriate subject librarian or specialist. Decisions will be made in accordance with library's collection policy, budget considerations, and whether the item is available for purchase. You will receive notification that your request has been received and is being considered.

If you are an MRU faculty member, please feel free to reach out directly to your subject librarian with recommendations.

Please note: if you need time-sensitive access to a specific resource for an assignment deadline, it may be faster to ask for MRU Library to obtain the item for you as an interlibrary loan instead of as a purchase.
