How do I find peer reviewed articles in LibrarySearch?

Once you have launched your search, use the filters on the right-hand side of the results screen:

  1. Under Availability, check the box for Peer-Reviewed Journals.
  2. Under Resource Type, select Articles.

These filters will update your results immediately.

Note: The peer-reviewed filter is mostly reliable, but it is not perfect. Editorials, book reviews, or letters to the editor may appear as peer-reviewed, but most instructors will not accept these as scholarly articles. See our FAQ on identifying scholarly/peer-reviewed articles for tips on what to look for.
