The book I want says 'Not available - in processing': what does this mean?


When the availability status for an items shows as 'Not available - in processing" it means that the item has arrived but is not yet ready for the shelf. You can request this item by placing a hold on it. You will receive an email when the book is ready to be picked up from the Service Desk. 

To place a hold, click on the title of the book and scroll to the Get It section. Log in to see additional options if needed. Once you are signed in, select Place Hold. Indicate if there is a date after which the item is not needed (optional) and select Send Request.
