How do I narrow down my results?

Sometimes when searching for information you will want to limit your search results. For example you may only want material published in the last 5 years or your instructor may have indicated that you need to find peer reviewed information. Whether searching LibrarySearch or one of the Library's other databases, you will usually be able to find filters or limiters that you can use to help refine your search.

For LibrarySearch the filters appear on the right hand side of your search results. For example, you can narrow by availability (full text, held by Library), by date, by subject or by type of resource (book, article video) or by peer reviewed status.
