How do I retrieve a permalink, save or print items from LibrarySearch?
Create permanent link or email any resource (book, article, film, newspaper article, etc.) from LibrarySearch - the primary search box on the MRU Library website.
- Save permalinks by clicking the link icon allowing you to paste these into documents or emails. Permalink icons appear both in the search results page and also at the bottom of the more detailed record.
- Email items by clicking the envelope icon next to them.
- If the resource requires a login, mymru credentials will be necessary to access the item.
Once logged into your Library Account, you can manage your searches and results efficiently:
- Pin items for later access under "My Favourites", where you can also view your saved searches and search history.
- Print item records by clicking the Print icon; to print the actual document (PDF or web), open it directly. Multiple items can be printed from the "My Favourites" tab in your Library Account.
Note: Most, but not all, licensed library resources are aggregated and appear in LibrarySearch. If you cannot find something you expect, try searching directly in the database where you originally found it. Alternatively, you can seek help from the main floor Library service desk, use chat or text message or contact your subject Librarian.
